Gunmen abduct Lebanese, kill soldier in Bayelsa

A 53 year old lebanese identified as Ramzi Bau Hadir was abducted by suspected kidnappers at an oil station in Bayelsa state today April 5th. A soldier was also killed during a shootout.

Spokesperson of the Bayelsa Police Force confirmed the killing to Reuters “One Lebanese, Ramzi Bau Hadir, aged 53 years, was kidnapped by the armed bandits,”he said



A resident said a second foreigner had been kidnapped but Asinim did not confirm this.

“It was a movie scene. The soldiers were shooting and the armed men were shooting. We later saw signs of blood everywhere.”‎a resident identified as Monday said
